Green Volvo - Ina & Oracle Terror

Oblivious.

No business behind the wheel of a 3000 pound weapon.

It takes quite a bit to make me angry. This woman managed it. I followed her from First and Ina west to the northbound Oracle turn, then up Oracle to Magee. She drove in the bike lane nearly all the way. People like this have no business using the roads at all,... ever.

Watch out for this one.

Green Ford PU - Oracle and Hardy

Gotta get to the gym, hurry, hurry. So what if that's not a turn lane.

White Ford Expedition - Skyline / Ina westbound

This one is a selfish driver. She consistently had to be first in line, and if that meant making her own rules of the road so be it.

Grey Hyundai Ina / Skyline heading east

I considered going to the police with these pictures. Not only is she in the bike lane while driving straight into the rising sun, but, she's completely engrossed in a phone call while doing it. She could have driven right over a cyclist and not known what was going on.

I generally ride to the right side of these big wide bike lanes because a good many drivers wander into the safe spaces. What the hell do you do when someone does this?

Red Nissan SUV - Grant & Campbell Northbound

This one comes with a story. Arriving at the light I find our hero stopped here in the bike lane so that he is not only blocking it, but also the right turn lane, which he mistakenly found himself in.
Our friend in the grey Nissan behind him is gradually losing patience with him. Note the cyclist on the other side of the intersection.

The light turns green and as predicted our hero goes straight out of the right turn only lane.
When he realizes that his lane is ending, now we have a drag race.
Floorboard It !!!
Uh oh, he can't win the race with sheer speed, I guess he'll need to yank it left and cut off the other driver.

When I pulled up to the light at Fort Lowell, our brave hero here was just to my left. Asshole.

D.P.S.

I removed the identifying markings from the vehicle because, quite frankly, I don't want to be retaliated against.

This incident reminds me of two cases in California where innocents were killed in the bike lane by distracted police officers. Suffice it to say, I don't buy into the bullshit that police are trained to use all of the distractions safely, observation and evidence suggest the opposite.

Silver Honda - Oracle at El Conquistador

Ducked to the right way to early for the turn lane.
